San Francisco Bay Trail Audio Walking Tour

The SF Bay Trail connects communities to parks, open spaces, schools, transit and to each other, and also provides a great active transportation corridor. Google’s close proximity to the Bay Trail in Mountain View offers its employees a unique yet untapped opportunity to connect with the environment around them. This project will develop a free high-quality smart phone audio tour covering a walkable distance of the Bay Trail near the Google headquarters. Through curated stories, the tour will serve as an outdoor platform to educate Googlers and the public about shoreline ecosystems and their surroundings and inspire them to experience this interface between land and water first hand, along the Bay Trail.
